Health Psychology aims to reduce harmful health behaviours and improve healthy behaviours. For example, poor diet, lack of exercise, smoking, alcohol and drug abuse. The reduction of these is associated with reducing heart disease, type II diabetes, breast and colon cancer, obesity and more. Health and lifestyle psychologists specialise in intervening and assisting with an individual’s health and wellbeing. Health psychologists also help in creating education and behaviour programs to assist people in recovering from or to assist with their current chronic illness, injury, trauma or disability.
Psychological treatments can also assist in reducing problems that can contribute to and accompany illness and/or injury, e.g. chronic pain, poor sleep, eating concerns, anxiety, addiction, depression and emotional reactions such as grief and anger.

Chris has experience working with a diverse range of clients. This includes working with people with anxiety and depression, PTSD and trauma related recovery, relationship issues, family dysfunction, grief and loss, low self esteem and interpersonal difficulties and much more.
Ilan has over 27 years experience as a Clinical Psychologist and offers a nonjudgemental and confidential space on the telephone or via video for effective, practical counselling. Ilan has worked with all population groups including children, adolescents, men and women of all ages.
Stephanie has had nearly three decades of working with a diversity of clients of all ages, issues and genres. Stephanie is keen to support you with with relationship issues, family issues, depression and anxiety, faulty thinking, self esteem, learning difficulties, stress, performance management and parenting.
Nicole has worked in a broad range of settings. She is a proud military psychologist with over 30 years total service in the Australian Army in various roles. She is a Solomon Islands and Afghanistan veteran. She has a particular professional interest in providing intervention to people suffering from anxiety and anxiety-related concerns.
Alice gets excited meeting people and hearing their individual stories. She has a flexible style and likes to tailor her approach to suit the person she’s working with. Alice imparts knowledge she has built up to assist you to be the best you can be and not be run down by bad thoughts and feelings.
Fin believes that understanding how we think and what experiences led us to these cognitions is the only way to get to know ourselves fully and lead a more balanced life. Fin is trained in several evidence based approaches, including CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy and EMDR for the treatment of trauma.
Louise has gained a wealth of experience working with clients from a wide range of socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds, seeing clients ranging from school age to the elderly population. Louise is passionate about working with anyone experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, perfectionistic/obsessive, compulsive traits, sleep difficulties and interpersonal issues.

Joel has experience helping a diverse range of ages and issues, however, has most experience working with adult males as well as working within a military setting. Joel’s areas of interest include: Anxiety, Depression, Life Transitions, Pain Management and Adjustment Disorders.

Eva has over 20 years experience as a psychologist and she is committed to making counselling therapy a compassionate and collaborative process, so you feel supported throughout the process. Conducting sessions with genuine positive regard each client is valued for who they are.
Louise has extensive experience with children and adolescents but is very comfortable working with all age groups. Clients with issues in the areas of self esteem, stress, anxiety and depression, substance use issues and body/weight related issues would be assisted by Louise’s experience in these fields.

She also welcomes clients with workplace issues such as career development, motivation, performance, and interpersonal conflict.
Belinda has completed a PhD and has published extensively in the academic literature locally and internationally and regularly attends conferences. Belinda trained in evidence-based approaches at the University of Melbourne, in particular CBT, Motivational Interviewing and Relaxation techniques. Belinda has experience in delivering assertiveness training and improving self-esteem.
