By working collaboratively, we can find strategies, concepts and treatments that will reduce your symptoms of distress and provide empowerment to meet your goals.
After more than 22 years as a psychologist, I know that every individual is so unique and that change is facilitated through therapy tailored to meet the needs of your particular set of circumstances. It is such a privilege to use my skills and knowledge to provide support, encouragement and professional, evidence-based techniques.

Amanda completed a Bachelor of Social Science majoring in Psychology, Sociology and Philosophy; then a Master of Letters in Psychology, and a Masters in Health Psychology. Amanda is a Board Certified Supervisor and she is currently a Health Psychology Registrar.
Amanda is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA), and has been a member of the Australian Psychological Society for more than 20 years.
Amanda has advanced training in several therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Perinatal Depression, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Trauma therapy including Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR), and is a Certified Practitioner of Mindfulness.
Amanda has experience working with various client/patient populations including adults across the lifespan, adolescents, and LGBT+ community members.
Areas of focus include depression, anxiety and anxiety based disorders, relationship challenges, substance use, difficulty regulating emotions, living with chronic health-related illness, unresolved trauma, and grief and loss.
Amanda has worked in Private Practice, Mental Health organisations and Community Mental Health settings.
