Hi, I'm Andrew 👋

Improving your mental health can be a serious business, but my caring and empathetic approach comes along with a sense of humour. My aim is to create a relaxed and non-judgmental space to address any issues that are holding you back from where you’d like to be. 

I like to work with you in a collaborative way to identify and help you reach your goals in life – no matter how big or small they may seem. 

 

I focus on equipping my clients with the tools and insights they need to succeed in reaching these goals using a range of therapies, depending on what will work best for you.

Academic Credentials

Andrew has completed a Bachelor of Behavioural Studies (Psychology), a Graduate Diploma in Psychology Advanced and a Master of Professional Psychology. H

e is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).

Andrew incorporates several evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).

Counselling Experience

Andrew has experience working with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents and adults.

He has a keen interest in working with people experiencing anxiety, depression, borderline personality disorder, drug and alcohol dependence, low self-esteem and interpersonal difficulties.

He has worked in a range of settings including non-government organisations and private practice.
