Hi, I'm Claire
I am a compassionate clinician with extensive experience working with clients across the lifespan from young children, adults through to the elderly. My goal is to provide a non-judgmental and safe environment for clients to explore their issues and to help support them in achieving their goals.
I am a Registered Psychologust with over 25 years experience in a variety of settings including telehealth, face-to-face individual and group therapy, in private practices as well as government and not-for-profit organisations.
Claire's ready to help you improve your mental health.
Claire holds a Bachelor of Psychology degree with a Post Graduate Diploma in Teaching. She is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
She primarily works using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapyy (ACT), Solutions Based Brief Therapy, and Mindfulness Based Therapy.
I provide individually tailored and evidence-based therapeutic interventions and strategies to help clients to gain a better understanding of themselves and their difficulties or challenges. I then work with the client in identifying ways to effectively manage these issues, helping clients to build stronger foundations for life.
I have worked with many different presenting issues and specialise in peri and postnatal issues, trauma, children and family issues, work issues and workers compensation.
I primarily work within Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapyy (ACT), Solutions Based Brief Therapy, and Mindfulness Based Therapy. Utilising these approaches helps clients to better understand themselves, their thoughts, feelings and behaviours. This helps them to develop alternative coping strategies, skills and responses to better manage their challenges and lives.
