Hi, I'm Damith
Psychology, mental health, child development and healthy ageing are all complex topics that require different levels of understanding. Education within a particular area can help in terms of understanding what processes are considered appropriate and what are not. For example, what is normal child behaviour/development what is abnormal. What are normal thought processes. And, what is considered healthy cognitive ageing.
Psycho-education can importantly be the first step in alleviating stress and worry. My extensive knowledge within the field is the first thing that I bring to my clinical practice. I aim to deliver my message in a way that is easy to understand for everyone.
