Hi, I'm Emine
You can not change the waves but you can learn to surf them. I really like that saying because it emphasizes that although you might not be able to control certain situations, you can still control your reaction and response to it. You might be surprised how small changes in our behaviours or our perspectives can have a great impact on how we feel about ourselves and our surroundings. We may start to feel more empowered and resilient which puts us right back into the driver seat of our lives.
I’m very much looking forward to working with you and helping you to live a more meaningful and fulfilling life. I have worked with adults from all walks of life experiencing difficulties like depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, significant medical issues impacting on their mental health (e.g. stroke, amputation, neurodegenerative disorders) and more. I have been told to have a warm and empathetic demeanour, and I’d also like to think that I’m quite intuitive which complements my evidence-based psychological practice.
Emine's ready to help you improve your mental health.
