Hi, I'm Emma 
I am passionate about mental health and helping people from all walks of life move forward with their lives in a healthy way. My approach is client-centred, and I will meet you where you are at and work on your goals in a safe and collaborative way.
Underpinning my practice, are core values around respect, authenticity and kindness and I try to align with these values to ensure that clients feel supported. It is important for me that you feel heard, understood and appreciated as a unique individual and as such, I tailor treatment for each person accordingly.

Academic Credentials
Emma completed a Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Psychology) Honours, and a Masters of Clinical Psychology. She is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
Emma is a registered Psychology Supervisor and is trained in numerous evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Schema Therapy. She is currently undertaking training in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Counselling Experience
Emma has experience working with children, adolescents and adults with a range of presenting concerns. She has extensive experience working with clients who may be struggling with adjustment and mood disorders, anxiety disorders, interpersonal difficulties, trauma, eating and body image concerns and psychotic illnesses.
She has worked in a range of settings including government organisations, non-government organisations, inpatient facilities and private practice.
