Hi, I'm Hugo
Hi there, I’m Hugo and I’m an early career psychologist. I see the client as the expert in their own lives and use my knowledge and skills to help you overcome the barriers that are getting in the way of leading a purposeful and meaningful life.
I strive to create a supportive, non-judgmental environment where we can collaboratively come up with goals and utilise the best evidence-based approaches to tackle whatever it is you may be facing.

I’ve worked with adults, high school aged children, athletes and university students, who have come to me with various goals, including overcoming low confidence, performing well under pressure, stress and anger management, family and relationship issues, eating and body image difficulties, and depression, among other presentations.
The evidence-based approaches I take in therapy include being client-centred, using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and I am always looking to learn more and improve my practice.
I am open to feedback and am committed to helping my clients improve.
Outside of psychology, I love watching and playing sport, going for swim at the beach, and reading a good book.
