Isabella Ford

someone.health Psychologist

Hi, I'm Isabella 👋

I am a dedicated counsellor and Coach passionate about working with those wanting to live life according to what matters most. My style is relaxed and friendly and I like to focus on the relationship we build together. I have utilised a variety of counselling styles and interventions such as Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness and Behaviour therapy.

I believe that our experiences of life inform how we see the world. This means that I’m interested in who you are and what you believe in. I am committed to working with you, the whole person and I will treat you as a real person, not just see your issue. I want you, us, to achieve the life you want for yourself.

I feel so privileged to work with my clients, to get to know you and work with you in a meaningful way. It is amazing when my clients take a proactive approach to their mental health and together we make that change. I can’t wait for us to get started!

My goal is to move you to the place that you would like to be. I have a lot of experience working with people whose experience has led them away from their goals. I like to take an approach that is understanding of this and hopeful about the future.
