Academic Credentials
Jenny completed her psychology based undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications at Macquarie University, NSW and has been a registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) since 2005. Jenny is also a member of the Australian Psychological Society.
Jenny utilises evidence based methods / tools from various modalities dependent on the client’s needs, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Strengths based / Positive Psychology, Solutions Focused Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy.
Counselling Experience
Jenny has enjoyed working with a diverse range of clients within various settings, including in the public sector, and in community and mental health and has experience in undertaking psychometric assessments, leading training and providing supervision for provisionally registered psychologists.
Jenny’s key areas of interest are stress and health management, mood and anxiety disorders, parenting, managing life transitions, executive functioning and neurodevelopmental disorders, such as autism spectrum disorder and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
