I’m passionate about supporting and empowering women to grow and make positive changes.  I take a very holistic approach and I provide a safe, nurturing and confidential space for you to explore your emotions, beliefs, challenges and goals.

I support you to let go of difficult emotions, change limiting patterns and beliefs and experience lasting change. I believe in seeing everyone as a unique individual, with natural strengths and potential and I’d love to help you explore how you can overcome your challenges, experience growth and achieve more of your potential.

Academic Credentials

Jill is a Clinical Psychologist registered under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She has a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) with first class honours from the University of NSW and a Master of Clinical Psychology from Macquarie University.

Jill also has a Graduate Certificate in Adult Career Development from Wollongong University.

Jill has trained in several evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-Based Therapies and Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR).

Counselling Experience

Jill has worked in corporate, university, private and not for profit sectors. She has 20 years’ experience in private practice supporting women with anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, grief and loss, adjustment disorders and those making major life/career transitions.

She also worked for 6 years for the Gidget Foundation, which is a not for profit organisation that provides psychological support and counselling for mothers experiencing adjustment difficulties to motherhood, perinatal depression and/or anxiety and birth trauma.

Prior to working in private practice, Jill worked a Consulting and EAP Psychologist, providing personal and outplacement counselling, career coaching and psychometric assessment.
