John's ready to help you improve your mental health.
John completed a Master of Science (Organisational Psychology) and Master of Applied Psychology (Sport). He is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
John is trained in several evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
John has worked in a broad range of settings supporting clients one-on one and through group coaching to overcome life challenges and to develop the psychological flexibility they need to be well and thrive.
John has a keen interest in supporting people experiencing workplace issues and challenges in their professional life. He is passionate about working with athletes, be they recreational, competitive or elite, to help them to overcome challenges and achieve peak performance. John is also a proud veteran, and in his capacity as a RSL Welfare Officer, is privileged to have the opportunity to support other veterans and ex-service men and women as they adjust to life after their service has ended.
