Kate enjoys supporting her clients to identify their lifestyle goals and work towards achieving them. She is passionate about her clients enacting change to live their most fulfilling, best life possible and improve overall well-being. Her approach is client-centred, strengths-based and solution-focused.

Kate is a fully registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
She utilises evidence-based therapy modalities including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), motivational interviewing and psychoeducation.
She has undertaken post-graduate research focused on adolescent self-efficacy beliefs and enhancing peer and academic supports.
Kate has worked with people from diverse walks of life from ages 2-70 (children, adolescents and adults). She has previously worked in settings including private practice, career transitions, occupational rehabilitation and behavioural therapy.
Kate is experienced in working with clients who present with a range of presentations including anxiety (excessive worrying, social anxiety), depression, stress, adjustment difficulties to life transitions, low self-esteem, bullying and employment difficulties.
She also has experience working within the NDIS with people living with disabilities and their families (including diagnoses of autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and various physical disabilities.
Kate enjoys working with clients on skill-building across all areas of life including social skills, communication skills and assertiveness. This may include values clarification, behavioural activation, working towards improving mood and implementing healthier coping strategies.
