My approach is warm and friendly, as I believe the most important thing is that you feel comfortable. It’s great when clients have something in mind to work toward, but it’s also OK to simply want a compassionate ear to listen.
I am flexible to your needs, and hope to assist with providing compassionate company and a sounding board. If there are specific skills you’d like to refine or enhance, we can certainly work on building your tool kit in various areas.

Kate is a registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, and a member of the Australian Psychological Society.
Kate is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Brief Interventions, Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness techniques.
Kate has extensive experience working with young people, in educational environments and mental health settings.
She has worked in a Multicultural Mental Health Centre, as a gambling counsellor, conducts psychometric assessments, mental health assessments and parenting support.
Kate has an interest in working with young women experiencing anxiety and life transitions.
