Hi, I'm Kate 👋

I have always had a passion for helping people realize their full potential through the development of a supportive relationship. And I am eager to help you. Therapy gives you the unique opportunity to truly reflect on your life within a safe environment and in a relationship that is mutually respectful, trusting, and collaborative.

Together we look at problems while nurturing a productive, informed, and happy state of mind. The type of therapy I practice is brief, solutions-focused, and dynamic. Progress does not stop in my office; you carry what you’ve discovered into your world to practice and continue growing.

Counselling Experience

Having worked as a psychologist for over 35 years, I’ve assisted people across all lifespans, from diverse backgrounds, and facing an array of challenges.

My clients have included young people (15 to 25-years-old) experiencing the early symptoms of psychosis, people struggling with substance abuse problems, the LGBTQ community, seniors facing memory problems, and people newly released from jail.

I’ve worked in a range of settings including a crisis telephone services, a community mental health service, trauma centre, inpatient addictions service, The National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre (NDARC), and universities in Australia and the USA (UCLA and Columbia Universities).

More recently I’ve been an Independent Contractor for a private clinic where I saw clients in person and remotely. I am keen to help people 16-years-old and older who wish to improve their psychological life.
