Marina is warm and empathic. She enjoys working collaboratively with people to help them better understand the factors that are contributing to and maintaining their difficulties. 

 

Marina believes that the therapeutic relationship lays a strong foundation for effective treatment. She is skilled at matching practical strategies to the individual needs of the people she works with to help them create long-lasting change. 

 

Marina draws from a range of evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Schema Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

Academic Credentials

Marina Completed her clinical training at the University of Sydney and holds a Doctor of Clinical Psychology and a Master of Science degree. She completed her Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) degree at the Macquarie University.

Marina is a registered Psychologist and holds Clinical Endorsement with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Marina is a Member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA) and the Australian Psychological Society (APS).

Counselling Experience

Marina has extensive experience working with adults experiencing short and long-term difficulties.

She has a keen interest in working with people struggling with anxiety, depression, perfectionism, procrastination, adjustment difficulties, low self-esteem and interpersonal difficulties.
