It is my aim to support you on your mental health journey by offering a safe, approachable, non-judgemental, respectful, empathic, and appropriately challenging therapeutic environment.

Academic Credentials
Robert has completed a Bachelor of Behaviour Studies (Psychology), Bachelor of Science (Honours) (Psychology), and a Masters of Professional Psychology.
He is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
Robert is most experienced working within a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) framework, however he also draws on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT). Robert also incorporates elements of Existential Therapy, Person Centred Therapy, and Positive Psychology in his practice when appropriate.
Counselling Experience
Robert has experience supporting people with disabilities (under the NDIS), people transitioning from inpatient mental health settings back into the community, and providing counselling services to people impacted by alcohol and other drug use. Robert has worked in a range of settings, including non-government organisations, charities, and private practice.
Robert has a keen interest in working with people experiencing general anxiety, social anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, difficult life-transitions, and a lacking of meaning in life.
