Wendy has completed a Master of Counselling Psychology, Honours Degree of Bachelor of Science, and Bachelor of Behavioural Science. She is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc. (AAPi).
Wendy is trained in several evidence-based approaches, including Interpersonal Process, Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Wendy is a humanistic, person-centred Psychologist who works within a strengths-based framework, tailoring her approach to the specific needs of each client.
Wendy has experience working with adults and adolescents from diverse backgrounds in a variety of settings including community health services, private practice, universities and secondary schools.
She is interested in working with people living with the impacts of anxiety, depression, stress, grief and loss, trauma, emotion dysregulation, carers’ issues, life transitions, relationship issues, work related issues, identity issues, adjustment issues, low self-esteem, and sleep difficulties.
