Laura is someone who is personable and laid back, yet professional and experienced. Laura’s most recent experience is with survivors of sexual assault (adolescents and adults) and domestic violence, and those with trauma backgrounds. This is a particular area of interest and expertise for Laura. She has worked in psychology fields since 2013.
Malwina works with children, adolescents, families, parents and adults with mood disorders including anxiety and depression, grief and loss, adjustment disorders, PTSD, stress management, burnout, relationship issues, postpartum disorders, ADHD, ASD, self-harm and suicidal ideation and issues pertaining to acute and chronic health difficulties.
Sarah enjoys working with people with all presentations and particularly enjoys working in the areas of trauma, developmental disorders, anxiety, depression and with children and adolescents. Sarah has worked in the academic sector in universities in Tokyo, London, Italy and Turkey.
Rachel only works with children and young adults, up to the age of 25. She has over 20 years experience. Rachel has a keen interest in helping those who struggle with anxiety issues, including social anxiety, OCD and phobias. She has also worked extensively with young people who experience depression and other mood disorders, alongside other significant life events, such as bullying, relationship/friendship issues and adjustment issues.
Yakira is a naturally warm and empathetic Psychologist who is passionate about helping people to become “unstuck” and find meaning again, and in turn enhance their relationships with themselves and others. Yakira has experience working with people who have issues relating to depression, low self-esteem, trauma, stress, anxiety, grief and loss, anger, relationship and family breakdown, abuse, eating disorders, and substance abuse.
Adauto has 14 years of experience in a private practice focusing on anxiety, depression and life changes (work, divorce, sexuality and maturing) with young adults. Adauto believes that each person can benefit from problem solving strategies, but also from finding causes and reasons. Adauto studied Psychology in Brazil and applies CBT, ACT and DBT modalities.
Darren has been helping people from a psychological perspective for over 17 years. He is experienced working with depression, anxiety, PTSD, stress, anger management, loss and grief, as well as intellectual, physical, developmental disabilities. Darren has also experienced life as a wine merchant, martial artist, security officer and as a tradesman.
Andrew brings a sense of humour along with his caring and empathetic approach to therapy. He aims to create a relaxed and non-judgmental space to address any issues that are holding you back from where you’d like to be. Andrew has a keen interest in working with people experiencing anxiety, depression, borderline personality disorder, drug and alcohol dependence, low self-esteem and interpersonal difficulties.
Melissa has over 14 years experience working with individuals across the lifespan to help them address mental health concerns. She works within a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) framework and incorporates other modalities as appropriate. Melissa has a keen interest in women’s health, perinatal and antenatal health, anxiety and depression.
David has had 15 years of experience as a Psychologist working with children, adolescents and adults. He has experience working with educational needs, with a particular focus on life long education, differential diagnosis, understanding giftedness and managing neural diversity. David has also worked extensively with people experiencing anxiety, depression, issues of self worth and attachment concerns.
Carolina offers sessions in English and Portuguese, for adults and adolescents, covering a vast spectrum of psychological conditions including as anxiety, depression, interpersonal difficulties, relationship issues, and parenting-related difficulties. She has over 10 years experience in the academic and professional spheres of Psychology.
Ioanna has over 30 years of experience working with a diverse range of clients including adolescents, adults and seniors in both rural and urban settings. Katherine has worked with a wide array of presentations, including depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, grief, trauma, anger management, bullying, relationship difficulties and personality disorders. Katherine has worked as a School Counsellor for five years and an English teacher for over thirty years. Katherine is experienced in dealing with adolescent development and parenting issues. She has a keen interest in working with people experiencing relationship difficulties.
Rosara has a keen interest in working with children, adolescents and adults who are experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma including PTSD and adjustment disorder, OCD, bipolar disorder, gambling and other addictive behaviours, alcohol misuse, work/personal stress and domestic violence survivors.
