Hi! My name is Mif Hudson. I am a 42-year-old female psychologist of a CALD background, who is interested in helping her clients live a meaningful life according to their goals and values. Having worked in several professions before becoming a psychologist, I bring extensive life experience to my practice. As a psychologist, I have worked with clients across the life cycle from 4 years old to 80 years old, and have worked with clients suffering from depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, social phobias and bipolar disorder.
Masters of Professional Psychology (2019)- University of New England Graduate Diploma in Psychology (Advanced) (2017)-University of New England Graduate Diploma in Psychology (2013)-Charles Sturt University BA (HONS) 2003, Grad Dip Ed (2004)-University of Wollongong PhD Social Science and Policy 2013-UNSW; I have extensive experience with survivors of complex trauma and PTSD, along with survivors of domestic violence. In addition, I have experience working with neurodivergent populations, particularly clients with ASD and ADHD using neurodiversity affirming practices. Having trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, trauma focused CBT, schema therapy and elements of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, I am particularly interested in using the appropriate modality to suit the individual client's treatment needs.
