Affordable therapy from Medicare psychologists
We make seeing a psychologist easy and affordable

There is a Medicare option to suit you!
Medicare card holders can access up to ten subsidised psychology sessions annually. You’ll need a GP referral to get started. We offer bulk billing and lower rates than most clinics, making quality mental health care affordable and accessible.
Our bulk billing psychology service offers the same level of care with some limitations on therapist choice and availability.
If you don’t have access to Medicare, or you’ve used up your ten subsidised sessions, you can self fund your appointments.
At Someone.health, we believe everyone should be able to receive professional mental health support. Our certified Medicare psychologists offer quality and affordable therapy no matter your budget. Bulk bill clients receive quality online psychology sessions without having to pay out-of-pocket.
If you have used up your ten free mental health sessions via Medicare, our self fund online psychology services provide maximum flexibility and enable you to continue receiving treatment. With Someone.health, you can get affordable therapy services from the convenience of your own home, work or anywhere you feel safe and comfortable.
Medicare can help you fund up to ten psychology sessions per calendar year.
If you want a Medicare bulk bill, we need your Medicare number. We don’t need the physical card, but you will need to supply your Medicare card number. If you’ve lost your card or forgotten your number, you can jump onto MyGov to find your details.
All Medicare subsidised appointments require a referral and mental health treatment plan (MHTP).
A referral is a letter from your doctor to a specialist healthcare professional, like a psychologist, to outline the services you need. Your MHTP is a more detailed document with your personal information, an assessment and your goals for treatment.
Yes. Someone.health offers bulk billing for up to 10 psychology sessions per year.
If you are an Australian Medicare card holder, you can access bulk billed psychology sessions with Someone.health. While psychologist choice and availability may be more limited, the quality of care is the same for all of our services.
If you have a Medicare bulk bill, NDIS, Workcover or DVA appointment, your card will only be charged if you cancel or do not turn up to your appointment, as per our cancellation policy.
If you have a fee-based appointment (self fund), your bank card will be charged two days prior to your appointment.
