What we treat
I am a registered psychologist I aim to create a safe, respectful, and collaborative therapeutic space where you feel heard, understood, and supported.
I hold a Master of Psychology and a Master of Teaching (Prep–12). My professional background spans **child protection, family services, family violence, mental health, and the disability sector**, which has shaped my trauma-informed, child-centred, and systems-aware approach. I have extensive experience working with individuals with complex trauma histories, anxiety, depression, emotional regulation difficulties, and those navigating significant life transitions.
My practice is **neuroaffirming and strengths-based**. I recognise neurodiversity as a natural and valuable part of human variation, and I work to understand each person’s unique way of thinking, feeling, and experiencing the world. Therapy is never about “fixing” who you are, but about supporting wellbeing, self-understanding, and skill development in ways that honour your identity and needs.
As a **culturally diverse woman**, I deeply value the importance of **safety, trust, and respect in therapy**. I am mindful of how culture, identity, lived experience, and systemic factors shape mental health and help-seeking. I strive to provide a culturally responsive and inclusive space where clients feel emotionally and psychologically safe to show up as themselves.
I use evidence-based approaches including **Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)**, **Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)**, and mindfulness-based strategies, tailoring therapy to your goals, values, and lived experience. I work collaboratively, at your pace, and with deep respect for your autonomy.
My goal is to support you to develop insight, resilience, and practical tools so you can move forward with greater confidence, self-compassion, and a stronger sense of control over your wellbeing.
I am a **psychologist** with a **Master of Psychology** from La Trobe University and over a decade of experience working across child protection, family services, family violence, mental health, and the disability sector. I also hold a **Master of Teaching (Prep–12)**, which strongly informs my child-centred and developmentally informed practice. I have extensive experience supporting individuals and families with complex trauma, emotional regulation difficulties, anxiety, and psychosocial stressors. I am committed to ethical, evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development to ensure safe, high-quality psychological care.
