Qualifications

Bruce completed his PhD in psychology at Florida State University in 1992. He has worked as a counsellor, a corporate consultant, a manager and clinical team leader, and a supervisor to other health professionals. He has worked primarily in Australia and New Zealand but has also been a consultant in Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, and the USA. Bruce has trained future psychologists, in all the modalities, at the University of New South Wales and The Australian College of Applied Psychology.; Bruce has worked extensively with trauma and presented multiple workshops on trauma from suicide and homicide. He has published over 80 articles on a variety of subjects such as: optimal performance, guilt, frustration, mindset, eating disorders, smartphone addiction, relationship issues, self-respect, cults, competitive commitments, procrastination and concrastination, and many more. Bruce is an associate member of the APS and has been a registered general psychologist since 1993.
