Eleanor offers a collaborative approach. She has experience in working with acute and post traumatic stress, alcohol and other drugs, depression and anxiety. Her particular areas of interest are in assisting people to resolve trauma, substance use, depression, anxiety as well as the everyday difficulties that are encountered in life.
Eleanor has worked as a psychologist in rural and remote settings, the Northern Territory and Kimberley regions and rural Western Australia. Eleanor finds telehealth offers rural communities access to private regular services.
Eleanor utilises evidence based therapies including cognitive processing therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy and mindfulness based therapy.
