I am looking forward to meeting you and working with you for a brief time to help create the life style and expereinces you wish for. Together we will identify your unique strengths and engage them in removing obstacles, assisting you in gaining greater capacity to problem solve and develop your resilience.
Heather initially worked as a registered nurse specialising in assisting older adults in building mental wellbeing and resilience. She then completed a Masters and PhD level training in Psychology and has a professional endorsement in organisational and work place psychology. She is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency (AHPRA) as a psychologist and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society. She works with Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and in particular, Mindfulness Integrated Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, .; Heather has extensive experience working with workplace employees at all levels of organisations. She has a particular interest in issues related to work stress, work life balance and performance. She has worked extensively with people developing leadership skills. However, she also enjoys working with people with issues outside of work, including Anxiety or Depression, or facing life change and transitions (including retirement and redundancy).
