Hi, I'm a Registered Psychologist. I bring a neuroaffirming approach to my work, which means your way of thinking and experiencing the world isn't something to "fix." It's something we understand, and work with, together.
I'm well-versed in the NDIS, and have recently expanded into workers compensation and Medicare-funded therapy. I regularly seek supervision to keep strengthening my practice, because good therapy means never assuming you know it all.
First time seeing a therapist? There's no pressure to jump straight into talk therapy. I often bring games into telehealth sessions early on, just to build some trust and connection first. I love using a play-based approach with children and teens — and honestly, adults are welcome to it too. Sometimes a bit of play makes the harder conversations feel a little easier.
I’m trained in CBT, ACT, and EMDR, and I use play-based approaches in therapy. Before becoming a psychologist, I spent over eight years in community services, supporting humanitarian clients and children in foster care through casework, advocacy, and referrals. I worked alongside people facing homelessness, domestic violence, and health challenges, and that experience taught me to work with sensitivity and respect for each person’s circumstances. I later returned to study to become a psychologist. During my internship toward general registration, I delivered individual and group programs in schools, NGOs, and private practices, supporting clients with anxiety, emotional regulation, and mood concerns. I also carried out cognitive and neurodevelopmental assessments.
