What we treat
I am a general registered psychologist with 6 years of experience in telehealth services. I have found that telehealth sessions offer comfortability and convenience that can be restricted in face-to-face sessions. I have developed skills and resources designed specifically for telehealth sessions to ensure the client receives quality individual support. I have clinical experience working with children, disabilities and families including individuals affected by trauma and socioeconomic barriers. I am passionate about helping children, families and individuals with communication and expressive challenges. My intervention approach is creative with a focus on individualised strength-based expressions.
I have worked in community and social settings delivering in-depth psychosocial assessments among crisis and at-risk populations. I have a nurturing and non-judgmental approach, prioritising emotion validation and creating a safe place for expression and vulnerability. I incorporate a range of therapeutic interventions individualised to client's strengths and goals. These include art therapy, narrative therapy, trauma-informed care, mindfulness and ACT, CBT and behavioural activation, and DBT for emotional regulation. All therapeutic interventions are tailored to meet client-specific requirements.
