What we treat
As a compassionate registered psychologist, I am dedicated to supporting people as they navigate life's challenges, helping them build confidence and resilience through collaborative, evidence-based practice. I specialize in supporting clients managing anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions; utilising evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy and Eye-Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). By adopting a person-centred approach and working collaboratively with each client, I foster an environment that encourages healing and supports meaningful, lasting change. My aim is to help people to empower themselves and equip with them with skills to navigate their mental health by being heard, understood, and supported on their wellness journey and personal growth.
I am a registered psychologist with a Masters in Applied (Community) Psychology from Victoria University, where I teach under/postgraduate counselling and psychology students. Teaching enables me to keep abreast of the latest evidence-based practices, fuelled by my passion for continuous learning and supported by my academic background, including a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Melbourne. My diverse skillset allows me to help people overcome challenges like anxiety, stress, and trauma, using gentle, evidence-based techniques. I focus on providing practical tools to help people feel more in control, calm, and confident in their daily lives. I believe in a collaborative approach, where we work together to create strategies that suit needs and goals. I am committed to ongoing learning to ensure I provide the best possible care to support mental well-being with the people I work with.
