What we treat
My approach is tailored around the person or people who choose to work with me. The aim is always to support them in working through their challenges, while celebrating and leveraging their strengths and triumphs, in order to realise desired quality of life and being. Therapies are determined according to the unique needs and situations, and include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (trauma informed as well), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, problem solving, self-determination and broader development, and work on relating. It is always intended to be an open, collaborative process where genuine respect and equity is fundamental.
I am a registered psychologist with a Graduate Diploma of Psychology Advanced from Monash University. My approach is pragmatic, and looks at evaluating and supporting a person in an holistic manner; we live in the world, not just our minds. The work incorporates my experience which is drawn from psychology, accounting, IT and other professional and personal experience, including the military and immigration. As such, my aim is to work closely and in a very human way with you to find realistic ways forward and toward your preferred life.
