What we treat
I am a registered psychologist, passionate about supporting others to get to know their best selves and connecting with them on their own terms. I have a love of working with members of marginalised groups such as LGBTQI+ folk, ATSI people and those with complex care needs or disability, in a person-centered and neurodiverse-affirming manner. I use evidence base, skills-driven modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectic Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and integrative, transtheoretical applications of other modalities. I want to work with you to achieve the things that you find important.
I am a Registered Psychologist, with an Honour's degree from the University of Queensland. I believe that when working with others, it is important to be able to share in the things that matter to them - and so I work to actively broaden my understanding of not just the psychological challenges that client's face, but the parts of their life from which they draw meaning. I believe that a therapeutic relationship is one of team work, meaning that both the navigation of set backs and celebration of progress is shared between us.; - Registered Psychologist - NDIS Advanced Behaviour Support Practitioner - Experience providing outreach/rural and remote practice - Diploma of Nutrition - Lived experience as a neurodivergent adult (ADHD)
