What we treat
Catia is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She supports adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma-related difficulties, stress, emotion regulation problems, and challenges associated with life transitions and relationships. Her practice is grounded in evidence-based care and focuses on helping clients develop a clearer understanding of their difficulties, strengthen coping strategies, and work towards meaningful therapeutic goals. Her therapeutic framework draws from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and attachment-informed practice. Catia works collaboratively and flexibly, tailoring treatment to each client’s needs and values.
I am a registered psychologist with AHPRA. I hold a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours Class I) and a Master of Developmental Psychology (Honours Class I), and I am currently completing advanced postgraduate training in clinical psychology. I have completed additional training in CBT, ACT, DBT, MBCT, Motivational Interviewing, and perinatal mental health assessment and care through COPE, and I am a facilitator of a number of evidence-based parenting and wellbeing programs. I take an evidence-based and collaborative approach, supporting clients through assessment, formulation, and practical strategies across a range of adult mental health concerns.
