Taking new clients

Hi, I’m Chanel

I am a friendly and compassionate psychologist committed to supporting individuals through challenging life circumstances and work towards their personal goals. I have experience working in a variety of settings including in high school counselling, family services, drug and alcohol counselling, a private outpatient hospital, and an employee assistance program. I have worked with clients of diverse cultural and economic backgrounds; from adolescents to the elderly; those identifying as LGBTIQ+; those with various psychiatric concerns (ie. depression, anxiety, life transitions such as new motherhood). My therapeutic style is empathetic, warm and non-judgemental. I work in a holistic style of therapy and have a particular interest in transpersonal (spiritual) and existential therapy. Our sessions will be guided by you, and I hope that together we can work on changing unhelpful thinking and behavior patterns, building on your strengths, while increasing your problem solving skills and resilience.
