Hi, I’m Christine

I’m excited to be able to share your journey and support you as you navigate through these changing times. I believe that we are all unique in how we respond to changes and difficulties that can arise in our lives varies accordingly.

I believe that you are the maker of your own destiny and that I, as a psychologist, join with you for a short period of time to provide you with reassurance, resources and practical strategies to reinforce your own decision-making. I am here to walk with you and help you build up your bank of resources in challenging times.

Change is a constant driver in our lives. Coping with change is a significant factor in how well we adjust and it isn’t always good to try and cope alone. Let me listen to your story and we will make sense of it together.

Qualifications

Christine completed Dip.Teach;B.Ed-Psych Major,M.Ed-Counselling Psychology.She is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS). Christine has engaged in on going professional development throughout her career. She has undertaken Mental Health First Aid training and training in various evidence based modalities including solution focused therapy, cognitive behaviour therapy, narrative therapy, relaxation and stress management, child & adolescent therapy & system approach to mental health.; Christine has extensive experience working with a diverse range of clients from a variety of socio-economic backgrounds.Her work has involved working in private practice, in schools and as a therapist for children, adolescents and adults on the Autism Spectrum. Christine has a keen interest in psycho-education and empowering people of all abilities to be able to advocate for themselves with confidence and assertiveness when communicating with others. Christine is a compassionate and caring practitioner who wants her clients to have confidence in themselves and embrace personalised tools to assist them with their social and emotional well being.
