What we treat
Hannes has over 20 years of experience in providing clinical and neuropsychological services. He maintains a goal-informed and empathic approach as a Clinical and Neuropsychologist, with a focus on achieving positive outcomes for his clients. From a mental health perspective, he has a special interest in working with clients with anxiety and mood difficulties, as well as those struggling with self-esteem and shame. Hannes has extensive experience providing assessment and intervention to assist with a variety of other mental health presentations, including psychological trauma, OCD, sleep-wake disorders, substance related disorders, neurocognitive disorders, borderline personality disorder, bariatric surgery, and mental health difficulties related to physical conditions or injury. Hannes has a strong background in neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation of a variety of conditions, especially acquired brain injury. His main focus over the last Hannes has worked extensively across both private and public health systems in New Zealand and South Africa. He has held both senior clinical and leadership roles, and has provided numerous workshops and seminars. As a clinician and leader he is focused on working with other disciplines, with a strong focus on interprofessional practice.
