What we treat
Hi! I am a psychologist who loves hearing people's stories, and making sense of their world. I approach clients with the assumption that they are their own expert in their lives. My role is therefore to facilitate greater insight and understanding of the self through in-depth discussion, reflection and curiosity. My aim is to provide a comfortable environment for clients to share their inner world with me, and together explore how to facilitate meaningful change. I use a mix of psychological approaches, depending on what the client is looking for. I enjoy working with clients who are proactive in engaging with the process of self discovery and curiosity. It is my hope that sessions with me are enlightening, informative, and plant seeds for change.
I am a Counselling Psychologist registered with AHPRA. I have completed a Counselling Psychology Masters in Australia, as well as a Psychoanalytic Developmental Psychology Masters in the United Kingdom.; I've worked in private practice for 8 years. I have previously worked with children and families as well as adults, but now work exclusively with adults. For many years I was also a tutor in medical schools in the UK and Australia, teaching clinical communication skills.
