Qualifications

Katherine has a Graduate Diploma in Psychology, a Bachelor of Education and Masters in Educational Leadership. She is a Registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Katherine has completed training in several evidence-based approaches such as: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and is currently training in Schema Therapy.; Katherine is passionate about working with people of all ages and has had broad experience with young children, adolescents and their parents. She has worked with a wide array of presentations, including depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, grief, trauma, anger management, bullying, relationship difficulties and personality disorders.Katherine has worked as a School Counsellor for five years and in the educational sector as an English teacher for over thirty years. Katherine has had a lot of experience dealing with adolescent development and parenting issues. She has a keen interest in working with people experience relationship difficulties.
