Hi, I’m Paul

I am a experienced psychologist with general registration. I am dedicated to assisting individuals and families to navigate life's challenges. With general registration, I am willing to work with all types of presentations in a formal and non judgemental way. As a practitioner, I use evidence based approaches that begin with gathering background information and combining this with therapies like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing. Qualifications

I am a psychologist with general registration. I have a Bachelor degrees in Sport and Exercise Science and Psychology. In addition I have completed a Masters Degree in Rehabilitation Counselling. This means I have well rounded knowledge of both body and brain. My focus is on physical and mental health with a keen interest in things such as depression, stress, and anxiety. My counselling studies worked on addiction, work place injury, and occupational engagement. I have worked in different sectors including people with severe and persistent difficulties, self harm, and cross cultural psychology.; I completed my studies in 2015 and commenced my internship in 2018. Experience has been working with severe and persistent presentations, suicide prevention, cross cultural psychology, and working with general populations under Medicare.
