What we treat
I am a compassionate psychologist who works with children, adolescents, and adults, offering a warm, supportive, and understanding space to explore life’s challenges. I support children and young people experiencing anxiety, big emotions, trauma, school-related difficulties, and neurodevelopmental differences such as ADHD and autism, as well as adults navigating anxiety, low mood, relationship concerns, and the impact of past experiences. My approach is strengths-based and neurodiversity-affirming, and I tailor therapy to each person’s unique needs, goals, and life context. I draw on evidence-based approaches including CBT, ACT, EMDR, creative and art-based strategies, and animal-assisted therapy. Above all, I aim to create a safe, respectful, and compassionate space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to move forward with confidence and care.
I am a registered psychologist with a Master’s degree in psychology from Monash University. I have completed additional training in evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). I am committed to providing high-quality, ethical care and regularly engage in professional development and supervision to ensure my skills remain current and effective. I value working collaboratively with clients and believe that therapy should feel supportive, practical, and tailored to each person. My goal is to offer care that is grounded in strong clinical training while remaining thoughtful, approachable, and responsive to individual needs.; I have experience working as a psychologist across both not-for-profit and private practice settings. I began my career in a community-based not-for-profit service supporting asults and young people with complex needs, before moving into private practice. Much of my work in private practice has focused on supporting children and young people, particularly those who are neurodivergent, as well as their families, while implementing animal assisted therapy. I have additional training in EMDR and am able to offer this trauma-informed support via telehealth.
