Hi, I’m Tylaa

I am a registered psychologist offering a reflective, relational space for adolescents and adults who are navigating anxiety, complex trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, or life transitions. I'm interested in not just what's happening, but _why, _ what your experiences mean to you, and how they connect to deeper patterns or questions in your life. Therapy with me is curious, unhurried, and collaborative. I draw on evidence-based approaches like EMDR, CBT, and ACT, alongside creative and reflective ways of working when they feel right. My goal is to help you feel understood, gain clarity about yourself, and move toward what truly matters to you.

Qualifications

I hold a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours, First Class), a Master of Professional Psychology, and a Diploma of Transpersonal Art Therapy. I also have a background in philosophy, which shapes how I think about meaning, identity, and the bigger questions that often sit beneath emotional pain. From a client perspective, this means therapy that goes beneath the surface, exploring not just symptoms, but the emotional logic behind your struggles and what you're really longing for. I use both structured, evidence-based therapies and creative, expressive approaches when helpful, always tailored to your needs and paced to feel safe and collaborative.; I have worked with adolescents and adults across community mental health, EAP, NDIS, and private practice settings. My background also includes years of training and lived experience working with people in diverse contexts, across different countries and cultures. These experiences have deepened my capacity to connect, listen, and relate across difference. I have supported people experiencing complex trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, relational difficulties, and those in the process of figuring themselves out. I approach each person with respect, curiosity, and a belief that therapy works best when it feels genuinely collaborative and attuned to who you are.
