How do I switch or change psychologists?
You can change psychologist yourself in your account. You can browse our psychologist directory to find someone who suits your needs.
It's perfectly normal if you don't feel a strong connection with your first psychologist. You can change at any time.
- Browse our psychologists to find someone who suits you.
- Log in and select Request a different clinician.
- Choose the main reason you'd like to change, tell us a bit more, then select Change psychologist and continue.
- Book a time with your new psychologist.
Your GP referral, Mental Health Treatment Plan and remaining Medicare sessions move with you.
When you change, any upcoming appointments with your previous psychologist are cancelled. You won't be charged a late cancellation fee for these.
Sometimes our care team needs to arrange the change for you. If so, you'll see Our care team will take it from here and we'll email you once it's done.
