Yes, you can get up to ten Medicare bulk billed sessions.
Our goal is to make mental health services accessible to all Australians.
To be bulk billed, you'll need a referral and a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) from your GP. When you book, you can upload your documents at the documents step. You'll also need to add your Medicare details; otherwise your session will be booked as a private session.
Medicare funds up to 10 sessions per calendar year. Once you've used them, you can keep seeing your psychologist as a private session.
