When will my bank card be charged?
Private sessions are paid when you book. Otherwise your card is only charged for no-shows and late changes.
Your card may be charged in these situations:
- You book a private (self-funded) session.
- You don't attend your appointment.
- You cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours' notice.
1. Private or self-funded sessions
If you book online without Medicare details, you pay for the session when you book. The cost depends on your psychologist:
| Psychologist | Total cost |
|---|---|
| Clinical Psychologist | $182.00 |
| General Psychologist | $137.00 |
If our team books a private session for you, your saved card is charged 24 hours before the appointment.
2. You don't attend your appointment
If you miss an appointment without cancelling, a $100 fee is charged to your saved card.
To help you remember, we send:
- a confirmation email and SMS when you book
- a reminder email one week before
- a reminder email and SMS one day before
- a reminder SMS one hour before
You can choose which reminders you receive under Profile when you log in.
3. You cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours' notice
You can cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before your appointment starts.
Changes made with less than 24 hours' notice incur a $100 fee. Last-minute changes make it difficult to fill the time, which means a lost opportunity for both your psychologist and other patients who need that time. The fee helps compensate your psychologist for their reserved time and keeps our service sustainable. We appreciate your understanding.
