Can I book for someone else?
Yes. Parents, carers and support workers can book for someone else. Use the patient's own details.
Parents and guardians of teenagers
We see young people aged 13 to 17 with a parent or guardian's consent. When you search for a psychologist, select Show additional filters and tick Will treat teens aged 13–17. Read our parental consent information.
We don't see children under 13.
Carers and support workers
You can book for an adult you support. When you book:
- enter the patient's name, date of birth and Medicare details
- use a mobile number and email address that the patient, or the person who manages their appointments, checks. That's where we send video links and reminders.
- use a different email address for each person you book for. Each email address can only belong to one patient, so you can't use your own email for several clients or family members.
- upload the patient's GP referral and Mental Health Treatment Plan
We ask for a card even for bulk-billed sessions. It's only charged for private sessions or late cancellation and no-show fees. See why do I need to provide my credit card details?
If the session is funded by an organisation, such as the NDIS or an insurer, email [email protected] before booking so we can set it up correctly.
